01 / A POSITION, STEP BY STEP
A position does not have to begin or end in a single trade. Keep the entry cost, available quantity and amount committed to orders in view as the plan develops.
120 LINK at $18 + 50 LINK at $19. Two entries, 170 LINK acquired for $3,110.
Sell 20 LINK at $21. Receive $420 and realize $60 before fees, using units from the first purchase.
Place 40 LINK at $22. The $880 sell order is waiting to fill; those 40 LINK remain in the position.
170 acquired = 20 sold + 40 reserved + 110 available. The open position is 150 LINK.
Illustrative sequence before fees. The diagram explains the trade; the screen below preserves the application's actual layout.
The spot table separates the total balance from funds held in orders. See entry cost and unrealized P&L, then prepare the quantity and limit price. The percentage shortcuts help size a partial order; the lot selector identifies the part to sell.

02 / WHILE THE POSITION IS OPEN
Entry, current price, position size and protection belong in the same conversation. Keep the take-profit and stop-loss orders close to the position they protect.
50 SOL · $5,100 notional · +$100 unrealized P&L. The second position adds +$50; the dashboard also includes a +$75 KuCoin position.

Optional management can review selected positions, reassess protection and act within configured safeguards. Enabling management and allowing new automated entries are separate decisions. Live entries start disabled.
03 / AFTER THE FILL
A sale is only part of the story. Review execution time, price, quantity, fees and reported P&L. Filter by period, exchange or asset to understand how the total was formed.

No. Hyperliquid supports spot and perpetual futures; KuCoin and Gate.com support the futures workflows described above. Controls and order paths differ by venue. The Ethereum DEX Spot workflow is still in development.
Automation is optional and has separate controls. Managing an existing position does not automatically enable new entries. The entry pilot starts with live entries disabled and supports a shadow mode for observation.
No. Research can help structure a decision, but models can be wrong and market conditions can change. Confidence, agreement and the positive numbers in these examples are not guarantees of future results.
